When looking at vacation spots, Sandals Resorts is always on the top of my list. As Sandals Resorts Rewards members, we are always greeted with a smile and a warm “welcome home”. It may have sounded cheesy at first but the more Sandals Resorts that we have visited, the more any Sandals feels like a second home.

Since my first trip to a Sandals Resort in 2010, I have been sold on the brand. We started out in Jamaica at the Sandals Royal Caribbean. We had stayed in the lower category of room and we had a great trip. I was not blown away by the room but I was sold on the service. All of the Sandals employees were friendly and very helpful. I had been to all-inclusive resorts before and the service was never this good. I am used to the employees just giving you service for the tips. The more you tip the better the service, not at Sandals Resorts. At Sandals, you never have to have your wallet on you. They do not accept tips at Sandal resorts and the service is not dictated by the amount that you tip. The highlight of Sandals Royal Caribbean is the Private Island.

Since our first trip, we have been to five Sandals Resorts:

  • Sandals Royal Caribbean
  • Sandals Royal Bahamian
  • Sandals Grande Antigua
  • Sandals Grande Riviera
  • Sandals Halcyon

One of my favorite things about being a Sandals Resorts junkie is the Sandals Rewards Program. We collect points on every dollar that we spend on our trip and then redeem them for money off on the next trip that we plan. If you know me, you know how much I love a deal. Another great thing about the rewards program is how they celebrate you. Once a week at all of the Sandals Resorts they throw a dinner to acknowledge their loyal rewards members. At the dinner management takes the time to meet everyone and also to get feedback from everyone. We also enjoy meeting other members and it does not hurt that they usually give us a gift as well!

What makes Sandals Resorts amazing:

  • the best Caribbean beaches
  • gourmet dining
  • luxurious suites
  • butler service
  • top shelf liquor
  • red lane spa (the spas are amazing)

My main complaint about Sandals Resorts is that they are not everywhere… yet! They just opened up Sandals La Source in Grenada and Sandals Barbados. I am dying to visit both as soon as I can find someone to watch the baby! If you have any questions about Sandals Resorts feel free to ask me. Almost as much as I love Sandals Resorts, I love talking about Sandals Resorts!
