Hey guys! As you know, we have been doing the 60 Day PIYO Challenge. Part of that is a clean eating style food plan. Now that we are in week 6, we have really nailed this clean eating thing. We actually have started to enjoy it and have figured out how to make meals that we still enjoy. Ok, going salt free has been really hard and we will be adding salt back in once the 60 days are up. Other than that, we have decided to really try to keep up with the way our daily diet looks right now. For example this is what I ate today:

Breakfast:

  • Coffee
  • Oatmeal
  • Raspberries

Snack:

  • Banana
  • Almonds

Lunch:

  • 3 oz of Bison
  • Celery Root Mash

Snack:

  • Apple
  • Tsp Cashew Butter
  • Non Fat Latte

Dinner:

  • Asparagus
  • Corn
  • Salmon Filet

The best part is that I am not starving like I thought I would be. I actually feel more satisfied than I used to. I have always been a calorie counter and as long as I stayed under my calories I was happy. With that I would ultimately eat less food so that I could indulge in some higher calorie items. If I can get my husband on board with this food plan, I am sure you could too. Here are images of some of the yummy things that I have enjoyed on this plan on the last week:
