NYC Fit Food Fashion

Good Evening NYC Fit Food Fashion Readers! I hope you are all doing well.  I decided to put yesterday and today together in a post. We had a great last 2 days, lots of walks and the weather has been pretty good. I have been able to get in my conditioning exercises on both days. Here is the routine that I did:

  • 45 squats
  • 20 mountain climbers
  • 10 push ups
  • 80 crunches
  • 45 bicycle crunches
  • 45 side bends

As I started this challenge I said that I was not going to focus on weight. I have been weighing myself and sadly I have no lost any pounds but I do feel better about my body then I did almost 3 weeks ago. For food we did end up getting take out last night. We had decided to head over to the Colbert Report to see if we could get a picture of the baby with movie director James Cameron. I have heard in the past that he was not the nicest guy but we wanted to give it a shot anyways. When we got to Colbert, we saw that there was quite a few fans waiting to meet James Cameron. There was already a car pulled up for him. The driver was out and waiting. I said to Jon, “wouldn’t it be funny if he just took off”. Well that is exactly what he did. No joke. James Cameron ran out of the building and jumped in his waiting car without one glance at his fans that had been eagerly waiting to get a picture or an autograph.(As seen in the photo that I took above) I could not believe he was such a pompous jerk that he would not even stop for 5 seconds to acknowledge his fans. This past month Cameron Diaz had done the same thing at all of her appearances in NYC. It boggles my mind that these people still have fans, with the way they treat people. It is the people who go see their movies and make them rich! That is my rant for the day. Back to my diet, we had take out last night but nothing crazy. We ordered from Cha Pa’s Noodle House and I got a chicken vermicelli bowl. Cha Pa’s is one of our favorite places to order from and I never feel guilty about it. We were back to cooking tonight. Here is a look at todays menu:

Breakfast: coffee with soy milk, cantaloupe

Lunch: greek salad

Snack: grande hazelnut macchiato from Starbucks

Dinner: chicken legs, roasted potatoes, corn and red wine

I am sticking to and will finish up this 30 Day Challenge but I am looking forward to starting my next goal. The BeachBody PIYO Challenge! If you want to join me, I will be starting on September 1st.
