So I am turning 36 today. Looking back on this year, 35 I will really miss you. This has probably been the best year of my life. I also wrote and said the same thing last year and for that I am thankful. This year I took on the journey of pregnancy and loved almost every minute of it. The first trimester was tough but the second was amazing and all but the last 2 weeks of the third were great. I have settled into my life in NYC and love it here. I can finally call this place home. So much so we have decided to stay here longer. I had decided not to return to work and to turn my focus to this blog and to writing. I have enjoyed my time on the blog and can not wait to see what happens with it in the next year. We still managed to travel quite a bit this past year with trips to, Texas, Toronto, Montego Bay and St. Lucia. I have continued to make my health a priority and managed to keep it up through my whole pregnancy. I am so glad that I have had the time to devote to myself, it has been a blessing. The biggest change this year was the birth of my beautiful daughter, Emma. You never know how much you are going to love this little stranger that enters your life until it happens to you. There have been challenges but they are all worth it. She is the best thing that has ever happened to us. She makes life so amazing and I am thankful for her everyday. Even when she woke me up last night at 2 am and 5 am! I cannot wait to watch her continue to discover the world and to teach her all the things a little gal needs to know. So with all of these wonderful memories, I have to say goodbye to 35 and hello to 36. Oh 36 I hope you are as wonderful and love filled as 34 and 35 was. You have big shoes to fill!
