Happy Workout Wednesday! Well I am almost done my pregnancy I am 38 weeks and 5 days. I will be delivering on Monday via C-section. The baby is breech and decided not to make the turn but I have made peace with the fact that I will not be doing natural child-birth and I am actually happy to know when the little one will be making its appearance here in the world.

The thing I am the most proud of during my pregnancy is the fact that I have managed to go to the gym at least 5 days a week for my whole entire pregnancy. My workouts have definitely changed over the last few months. If you are active before your pregnancy do not be afraid to remain so during your pregnancy. I have heard from a lot of people who thought that by going to the gym daily during my pregnancy was not going to be good for me. I think it was the best thing I could have done for me and for my baby. Honestly the days that I did not go to the gym were the only bad days I would have during the week. The more you sit while you are pregnant I have found the worse you feel over all. Being active really helped to relieve my back pain, which had been intensifying over the last 2 weeks.

Well I have less than a week left to go to the gym. I am finding myself really sad that I will have to take the time off after the c section since my gym time is one of my favorite times of the day. I know being off from working out for 6 weeks will be really hard for me. When it is time to return to the gym I will be sharing with you guys my workout journey post C-section. For today I will be taking it slow, this week has been a hard one for me since I am getting so close and the baby is feeling pretty heavy. I never did get that belly band the way I had planned, maybe next time. My plan for Workout Wednesday is an incline treadmill routine. I will post it for you and if you want to follow along but add some speed to it please do. I would love to hear from any of you out there that have had C sections and how you dealt with returning to your exercise routine after surgery. I would really appreciate the feedback on this ladies! Have a great day!
