Hey Guys! I hope you are all having a great weekend and enjoyed your holidays. We have entered 2014 and it is time to get back into the swing of things after the holidays. I don’t know about you but I am ready to get the year started in a healthy way. I have gathered together some of my favorite health/fitness posts and tips from this past year to get us all back on track. Here are some of my favorites:
We all know the importance of staying hydrated. This year, make a commitment to yourself to drink your 8-10 glasses of water a day. You deserve it.
In 2014 make more time to work out. I find that the reason that a lot of you say you give up is boredom in the gym. Keep it interesting. Switch it up on a weekly basis. I find the more I mix up my workouts the more I enjoy going to the gym. We all vow to make these changes every year, this year let’s stick with it.
Keep motivated! I prefer to workout alone but a lot of people like to do it in pairs or even groups. This can go a long way in keeping you motivated to get it done. If you need the extra motivation enlist a friend or loved one to keep you on track.
If you can not get out to the gym, you can work out at home. I had to figure that out last year when I was without a gym membership for a bit. Here are some of the great tips I picked up from you guys and of course my social media circles! Tips for Working Out at Home
In 2013 I had a lot of really great guest posters. One that really sticks out in my mind was Fast and Easy Ways to be a little Healthier by Louise Brans of FreshFit Inc.
