I made these last week and they were amazing! I have a great fondness for crescent rolls since they are so warm and flaky but had never thought to use them for anything other than well….. crescent rolls.
- 2 small or one large can of crescent roll dough
- Pizza cutter or small knife
- 2 TBS Butter
- ¾ tsp Garlic or other spices you like
- Muffin Tin
- ½ cup Shredded Cheese
- Cooking Spray
Roll out your dough (2 small cans or 1 large can)
Press the dough together at the seams to make one large dough rectangle
Use a pizza cutter or small knife to cut the dough into 24 pieces. Its nice if you can get them all nice and even but not a big deal as long as they are fairly close. I cut mine in 3 columns and 8 rows to make my 24 but anyway you want to cut them is fine as long as you get 24 pieces
Roll each cut square into a ball
Spray 6 muffin slots with cooking spray. I used a silicon muffin tin so the amount you can get will really depend on how large or small your muffin tin is so adjust for size.
Melt 2 TBS butter in medium size microwave safe bowl combined that with ¾ tsp of Garlic. Reminder if you use another spice you might need to adjust a bit.
Put 4 balls into each muffin slot. If your using a smaller tin you might only be able to fit 3. Try to pair the smaller balls with the larger ones unless your super awesome and cut all yours the same which I am sure you all did J
Heat oven to 350 and Bake for 17 minutes
Remove from oven and add shredded cheese I added about half a cup or so. Bake for another 3 minutes to melt cheese and you have the best possible way to enjoy crescent rolls!
