My pick for Inspiring Fitness Star of the week is an energetic power house: Chalene Johnson. Chalene is an American fitness expert, choreographer, author and entrepreneur. She first caught my eye on an infomercial for Turbo Jam.
Turbo Jam started as a group exercise class, created by Chalene that combined dance and kick boxing. This led to the creation of The Turbo Jam at home fitness program. The class is also taught in gyms across America and Australia. If you have not experienced Turbo Jam you should. It is an amazing workout. My favorite Turbo Jam workout is Turbo Sculpt, I like to do a little sculpting with my workouts! Chalene has so much energy it inspires me to try harder and go faster. She has a way of making you feel pumped!
Since Turbo Jam‘s success, Chalene has also created TurboKick, PiYo, Hip Hop Hustle and All Star Presenter Camp. Through Beach Body she released chaLean Extreme and Turbo Fire. If she wasn’t busy enough Chalene published a the book: Push: 30 days to Turbocharged Habits, a bangin body and the life you deserve. I have not read the book yet but it is on my list!
Who inspires you to have it all?
I think the thing that inspires me the most about Chalene Johnson, is that she seems to be a woman that has it all. A mother of 2, a wife and a powerful woman in her industry. She shows us ladies that it is possible to do all the things you want to in life with out sacrificing! Thank you Chalene Johnson for inspiring me and so many others!
