For most of the year I have been a slave to the elliptical. After a much needed break I have reintroduced it into my workout routine, just not everyday like I used to. The problem with the elliptical is it can become a very easy workout to just phone in. If I do not switch up the incline or resistance I have been able to do 90 minutes on the elliptical with out breaking a sweat. Fast Forward to how I have made the elliptical into a cardio blast! Here is my 60 Minute Full Body Cardio Workout of the Elliptical:

  • 0-5 minutes Incline 5-6 Resistance 4-6 Pulling Handles
  • 5-10 Minutes Incline 7-8 Resistance 6-8 Pedal Backwards No Hands
  • 10-15 Minutes Incline 7-8 Resistance 6-8 Pushing Handles Pedal Forwards
  • 15-20 Minutes Incline 8-10 Resistance 7-9 Pulling Handles Pedal Forwards
  • 20-25 minutes Incline 5-6 Resistance 4-6 Pulling Handles Pedal Forwards
  • 25-30 Minutes Incline 7-8 Resistance 6-8 Pedal Backwards No Hands
  • 30-35 Minutes Incline 7-8 Resistance 6-8 Pushing Handles Pedal Forwards
  • 35-40 Minutes Incline 8-10 Resistance 8-10 No Hands Pedal Backwards
  • 40-45 Minutes Incline 7-8 Resistance 6-8 Pulling Handles Pedal Forwards
  • 45-50 Minutes Incline 8-10 Resistance 8-10 Pushing Handles Pedal Forwards
